At WBL Wrestling, we offer coaching in Folkstyle Wrestling for young athletes in the WBL and surrounding areas. Our goal is to introduce your child to the fundamentals of wrestling, helping them build skills both on and off the mat.

Wrestling Seasons

• Folkstyle Season: November – March (Split into two sessions)
  • Session 1: Nov 11 - Dec 21 (WBL Youth Wrestling Tournament)
  • Session 2: Jan 6 - Mar 10 (MN/USA Folkstyle State)

Equipment Needed

• Practice T-shirt, shorts (ideally without pockets for safety)
• Clean wrestling shoes
• Headgear and water bottle

FOLKSTYLE SEASON OVERVIEW

• Location: WBL High School - Wrestling Room

• Practice Sessions: 2x/week, per group

  • Tues/Thurs @615p (60 or 90 min sessions, varies by age group)

  • Friday (optional: based on criteria/onboarding) 

• Price: 

  • Session 1/2: $125 

  • Full season: $250 

FREE YOUTH WRESTLING CAMP | BEAR Camp

Open to: K-5th Graders
Date: Nov 3-5th (3-day camp)
Time: 615-745p
Location: WBLAHS - Field House (Court 1)

Parent Meeting: Nov 5 (630p, during camp)
